Los Angeles Dreamers to participate in Corpus Christi Procession and Blessing
Los Angeles’ Catholic Faithful to hear their immigration stories and Dreams; Dreamers to receive a special blessing for a safe journey to Washington, DC

WHAT:
The Los Angeles Dreamers -- part of one hundred individuals from throughout the country traveling to Washington, DC to share their dreams and immigrant stories with our nation’s leaders to show the human impact of immigration reform -- will be processing with Catholic parishioners at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Corpus Christi Sunday celebration.

With the debate over comprehensive immigration reform on hold in the Senate, Catholics in Los Angeles, throughout California and the nation are dedicating Corpus Christi Sunday, as a day of prayer, reflection and procession for just and humane immigration reform. Dreamers will join the Corpus Christi procession from the church to the Kiosko at El Pueblo National Monument -- the birthplace of Los Angeles, founded by immigrants—where they will share their stories and receive a special blessing by Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Solis.

The Dreams Across America Tour is a nationwide journey, from June 13th- 20th via ten cities, that will educate the public to dispel myths, give real facts, and share personal stories about the need for just and humane immigration reform in this country.
