Job Opening: Immigrant Rights Organizer
The Korean Resource Center (KRC) is seeking a full-time Immigrant Rights Organizer in Southern California.
Duties
- Advocate for immigrant rights issues, with a focus on Legalization, Access to Higher Education, Enforcement, and Civil Liberties on behalf of Korean American Community in Southern California.
- Build community coalition among immigrant communities to protect and advance immigrant rights.
- Assist in the civic education and participation of the Korean American community.
- Organize and educate the Korean American community on immigrant rights issues.
Qualifications
- Commitment to immigrant rights and social justice issues.
- Fluent in Korean and English and strong communication skills.
- Previous experience organizing the immigrant community.
- Able to work in a team environment and various Korean American generational contexts. (Seniors, Youth, and Working Adults)
- Able to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work some evenings and weekends.
