signed on to a letter to
the Los Angeles County Supervisors
with other organizations
and individuals regarding
the future of the Martin
Luther King-Harbor public
hospital. The letter
made recommendations which
will alleviate the difficulties
the hospital's closure may
have on the area's residents.

Health Reform round-table
discussion brought together
legislative aides, community
advocates, and concerned
citizens to look at the
Korean community's low health
insurance rates. The
round-table opened up to
different viewpoints to
causes and potential strategies
for raising awareness.
