Last week, New York State Governor Eliot Spitzer retracted from providing a 'One Driver's License for All' policy and instead endorsed the REAL ID Act. This policy shift will brand the IDs of undocumented immigrants with a distinctive marker and will infringe upon the privacy and civil rights of all New Yorkers.
