Dear Friends,
the Korean Resource Center (KRC) has been working on a naturalization drive assisting Korean Americans and immigrant communities become U.S. citizens since July of 2006. KRC will hold three Naturalization Clinics on Saturday, June 30th, in the northeastern outskirts of L.A. (Monterey Park, La Canada and Santa Clarita). Now is a critical period for naturalization applicants, because the naturalization fee hikes kick in during July, making it much harder for immigrant families to file their applications.
When:
June 30th, 2007 Saturday
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Where:
Monterey Park Church (2233 S Findlay Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91745)
La Canada LOTTE Market (2135 Foothill Blvd., La Canada, CA 91011)
Valencia Market (23460 Cinema Dr., Valencia, CA 91355)
To make this happen, we need volunteers filling the application or providing transportation for other volunteers. Please consider assisting the community at this critical moment, and feel free to pass on the word on this opportunity. Training will be provided upon request.
