California State legislators have been working hard to hold the line and not make cuts in immigrant and public health programs. Please call in and contact the two chairs of the Budget Conference Committee. They will be voting in the next couple of days on what cuts to make in immigrant, health and human service programs.

Unfortunately, some of the volunteer physicians we had lined up can no longer make it. We are asking you now to donate your time and expertise as a volunteer physician next Saturday to help low-income uninsured residents in the community.
