Youth Power Academy (Fall 2015)

The Korean Resource Center's Youth Power Academy is back this fall for interested high school students! The Fall Youth Power Academy is a 7-week program that seeks to build young leaders in our community through education and service. This quarter, students will learn about race/ethnicity, discuss important social issues, and participate in service activities, including voter registration.

We encourage all high school students to apply. You will receive community service hours and may be eligible for the President's Volunteer Service Award! The program starts Saturday, October 17 and will run until December 5, every Saturday (except November 28) from 1 PM - 5 PM at the KRC office. Snacks will be provided. We will also have a Halloween Party with a prize for the best costume!

Apply now at krcla.org/youthpower by Friday, October 9. For more information, please email me at jinkyung [at] krcla.org or call me at the direct line at (323) 419-0333.
