The Korean Resource Center (KRC) is hosting a community park day at Smith-Murphy Park to celebrate the passing of Resolution #54, a Joint Union High School District measure which enforces the district to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students regardless of immigration status!
Months ago, a "sanctuary school" resolution was introduced that could help address the climate of fear in Fullerton's immigrant communities. Overnight, the Fullerton Joint Union High School District became a battleground for immigrant rights. As of August 1st, Fullerton high school staff and faculty will undergo Know Your Rights workshops as well as other trainings to help them become better advocates for their students.
Come join us for a fun afternoon of activities, food, and community love and celebration at Smith-Murphy Park!
