Sub-prime mortgage and credit crisis have been devastating housing markets. In the current economic downturn, the credit crisis has caused a significant drop in home prices – in May of this year, the median home price in California dropped 30%. In other words, the recent economic situation has offered a great opportunity for home-buyers!
The Korean Resource Center (KRC) has educated the Korean American community about credit and has now expanded our range of financial literacy programs to include homeownership. KRC will hold an educational workshop about home-buying process, short sale, and houses for sale. In this workshop, many specialists of the real-estate industry will answers questions from community members. If you have been planning to buy a home within the next 2 years, this workshop will provide you with valuable information.
