Asian American Pacific Islanders Stand United
Vote NO on Prop 98 and YES on Prop 99 on June 3rd!

What:
Press conference organized by the Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council (A3PCON) and its member organizations to express the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communitys opposition to Prop 98 and support for Prop 99 which will appear on the June 3rd ballot.

Why:
Prop 98 will directly threaten the homes and lives of thousands of AAPI families and community members in Los Angeles and across the state by ending rent control, inclusionary housing laws, and tenant relocation benefits.

A coalition of AAPI community groups are united to educate and mobilize their community members to vote NO on Prop 98 and vote YES on Prop 99 before the voter registration date of May 19th and to outreach to the many AAPI community members who vote by mail and who have already received their absentee ballots.
