Leaders call for thorough probe into police actions

WHY: Tuesday’s peaceful march organized by MIWON and over 50 other organizations were clouded in the end by LA Police action against marchers and media. Community leaders and march organizers will call for an investigation by the City of Los Angeles, the City Council, Chief Bratton, and the Police Commission. More importantly, organizers will call upon Los Angelinos to continue to actively voice their concerns over immigration reform.
