Section 8 Program, also known as the Housing Choice Voucher Program, is a rental assistance program that helps very low income individuals and families ("Participants") afford safe and decent housing. Participant pays about 30% of the household's monthly adjusted income, and Housing Authority pays the rest of the contract rent to the landlord. Applications for the Section 8 Waiting List lottery must be submitted online ONLY.

Qualification
- Anyone who is 18 years of age or older, someone in your household must be a US Citizen or legal resident, even if the legal resident is a minor child.
- The family’s household income must be below the limit for Los Angeles County.

WHAT INFORMATION TO PREPARE?
Name, Date of birth, Current and mailing address, Email address, Phone number, Total annual income, Social security number or Alien registration number
WHEN DOES THE RESULT COME OUT?
The Result will be sent to the email by December 1, 2017. If selected to the waitlist, Housing Authority will contact the individuals for interview throughout 5~6 years.
