KRC's Immigration Reform Action Meeting
Why: In recent months, millions have marched in the streets of Los Angeles to call for just and humane immigration reform. It is vital that we keep the momentum going. KRC and NAKASEC are calling for a meeting of concerned community members to discuss the current political climate and the short and long-term strategy to achieve justice for all immigrants and workers in the United States.

The KCET, a public TV station in LA, nominated the KRC as a community
awardees in celebration of the Asian American Heritage Month in May.
KRC is one of five nominees who will be getting an award this May 18 at
4:30 pm at their studio(4401 Sunset Blvd. LA)..
Also KCET will tape about KRC activities and interviews with staff,
volunteers, supporters and board members this Friday 2pm (4/14) at KRC.
The KCET will air this tape during the May.

Dear KRC Supporters,
As you aware, KRC annual free Health Day is coming up on July 30 (Sat.) from 9am to 3pm at KRC. On this Health Day, a free medical screenings/check-ups will be provided to uninsured low income families. The free services include: Free Medical Check-ups (by Internal Medicine Physician, Acupuncture Doctor and General Dentist), Glucose & Cholesterol Testing, Women's Exam (Mammogram & Pep Smear), Blood Screening for Women, and Workshop on Fish Contamination issues in Los Angeles/Orange County coasts.
